Now we have launched a solution for PocketPC, that
will automatically connect the handheld computer to nearest
Bluetooth LAN-Access point. If nessecary the system will
automatically transfer to another connect point.
This will multiply the use of different Bluethooth LAN
- Access points on the market in combination with (for instance) HP iPAQ. Especially in a
network with high demands on accessability, this is of great
advantage.
Besides, Bluetooth has a much better battery economy
than W-LAN (802.11) so with a Bluetooth-network you can build a high (and private) security structure
that can manage highly disturbed environments.
We have developed the system for iPAQ since that is the most requested Pocket PC handheld computer
today. But as we get orders for other models of Pocket PC (and
perhaps Palm) we will deliver adapted softwares.
